Bright blue fox visits Travelodge in London
A bright blue fox surprised a number of guests by wandering into a Travelodge reception this weekend.
Guests at the hotel in Woolwich, in south east London, were shocked to see the slightly bewildered animal in the reception area.
One guest, Scott Farnell, uploaded a couple of pictures to Twitter, quipping: "What's going on here then? Lenny Henry wouldn't stand for this? @TravelodgeUK

A Travelodge employee saw the tweet and replied: "We are sorry to see this, Scott! Why is he blue?! Did the hotel team sort this situation out? -Amy."
Scott then replied: "As you can imagine this was very distressing in the hotel bar, Woolwich. Somebody said it would have been spread by pest control. He was sent oh his way, RSPCA could not be reached. very sad."
Indeed, Scott also uploaded a picture of a man leading the fox out of the reception with Doritos. He wrote: "Fox whisperer has taken care of him. likes Doritos."

The RSPCA are investigating the incident. A spokesman told the Evening Standard: "It looks from the photos that he may have fallen, slept, rolled or lain down on something blue and it is difficult to say for sure whether it is a welfare issue. But there is a definite risk that whatever has done this might be toxic."
Anyone who has seen the fox is asked to call the RSPCA on 0300 1234 999.
