Fisherman tweets terrifying picture of huge wave in North Sea
The UK is currently being battered by storms, severe gales and snow. And the effects of the unsettled weather are clearly showing at sea, too.
One fisherman from the north east has tweeted his morning view - showing off a terrifying huge wave right next to his boat.
According to the Aberdeen Press and Journal, John Clark shared the picture with is followers, many of whom felt queasy just looking at it.
On Thursday he tweeted two pictures of the treacherous sea, writing: "Office view 3 miles from Peterhead still stormy."

The other said: "Office view this morning. Big waves 8 miles from Peterhead#eatmorefish#stormykind."

John had been correct when he'd tweeted just a few days earlier: "Office view this morning. Fine day but 4cast looks poor #eatmorefish#fishingdeluxe."

The idyllic scene was somewhat different to the huge waves the crew faced just three days later.
Meanwhile, the Met Office issued a yellow 'be aware' warning for snow and ice through much of the UK on Friday, urging travellers to keep updated with the forecast over the next few days.
