Scary moment plane lands in high winds at Leeds Bradford Airport (video)
Dramatic footage shows the moment a plane struggles to land while battling strong winds at Leeds Bradford Airport.
The plane is knocked sidewards as the pilot attempts to land at the West Yorkshire airport, which, according to the Daily Telegraph, is considered to be one of the most difficult airports to land at.
The Flybe plane, which was arriving from Aberdeen, approaches the runway at an angle as the pilot skilfully manages to keep it under control, before landing safely.
The scary landing came as 100mph winds hit northern Britain on Friday. Around 100,000 people in the Scottish Highlands were left without power, while a huge tree was uprooted in York, reports the Mirror.

Weather forecasters have also warned that another "violent" storm will hit the UK by next Thursday.
Experts have warned the public to "batten down the hatches" as a "ferocious jet stream" could bring 90mph winds and travel disruption by Thursday to "much of the population".
While northern Britain, mainly the Highlands, islands, Aberdeenshire and central Scotland, were hit hard on Friday, the new storm could take a more southerly track.
