Jay Leno has been spotted driving around LA in his Morgan three-wheeler car.

The green convertible has a paint job that gives a nod to a British Spitfire interceptor plane from World War II.

According to the Daily Mail, the former host of The Tonight Show is often spotted out in California riding motorbikes and enjoying rides from his vast car collection.

He reportedly owns around 130 vehicles, and his latest buy was a canary-yellow McLaren P1 worth $1.2 million. He keeps his collection in a hangar next to the airport in Burbank.

Jay even has his own web show about the collection, called Jay Leno's Garage.

Talking about his new McLaren, he told the LA Times: "I just can't stop driving it. It's just a perfect blend of science and technology... And you get the anthropomorphic sounds of the engine breathing."

He was 14 when he bought his first car, a Ford truck, in 1964. He said: "I never thought of it as a collection. Probably in the mid-1980s, I just started to keep stuff."

He has everything from Lamborghinis, Bentleys and Jaguars to a vintage Bugatti section and century-old steam-powered cars.

David Gooding, president and founder of Gooding & Co, a high-end auction house in Santa Monica, said: "Jay doesn't buy for the investment. His buying is completely out of passion and love."

But, that said, the collection is worth a fortune.
