A woman who became trapped under a car after a motorbike accident was rescued by a large group of Good Samaritans.

The woman was knocked off a the bike she was riding with her husband in Zhejiang Province, China, reports the Metro.



The motorcycle can be seen sticking out from under the back of the car, and the lady is trapped there too.

A host of people then rush in seemingly from nowhere and group together to lift the car off the injured woman.

She is then seen being placed into an ambulance and taken to hospital.

Global News reports that around two dozen people helped lift the car weighing 1,500kg off the woman.

The story is reminiscent of the moment commuters helped rescue a man stuck between a train and a platform - by lifting the train off him.

The man was boarding train at a Perth station about 8.50am when he slipped and got his leg stuck in the gap between the train and the platform.

Despite it being a busy time of the morning, scores of commuters quickly came to his aid.

Passengers and station staff tilted the carriage so that the man could free his leg, which was wedged in the gap.
