George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding 'cost £8 million'
Five-star hotels, a fleet of water taxis, pool parties - it's believed all these luxuries meant that George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin's wedding inVenice cost around £8 million.
More than 100 guests, including big stars like Matt Damon and Cindy Crawford, joined George and his bride as they tied the knot on the Grand Canal during a four-day extravaganza last weekend.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the wedding pricetag also included the hire of water taxis to take guests to and from various venues; the rooms in which they stayed at the five-star Hotel Cipriani, and the Saturday reception at the Aman Hotel.
The couple also gave out iPods loaded with a collection of their favourite songs as gifts to guests.
According to some reports, Ms Alamuddin's father Ramzi, a retired professor at the American University of Beirut, footed the bill for the entire event.
