Thief in car steals pizza from man at bus stop (video)

The moment you're waiting at the bus stop to get home after a night out so you can happily tuck into your delicious-smelling pizza - when a prankster thinks it's hilarious to steal it straight out of your hands.

Well, ok, it is a little funny.

The mobile phone video shows the car approaching the bus stop in Manhchester where the man is standing with his unopened pizza box.

The car quickly pulls up in front of the man, before the front passenger leans out and snatches the pizza from the presumably rather shocked man's grasp.

The group drive away laughing hysterically as they then reveal their prize was an untouched meat-feast pizza, reports the Evening Standard.

The video was uploaded on YouTube by a man named Dan Jackson, who wrote: "We saw this unsuspecting student holding onto a pizza and we thought it would be a great laugh to try and steal it.

"We have since of course replaced the pizza to the student and he confirms he saw the funny side of this."

Greater Manchester Police, however, didn't think it was so hilarious, with a spokesman telling the Daily Mail: "As funny as those in the car seem to think this is, not only have they stolen someone's pizza, it appears from the footage that they drove through a red light.

"The consequences of ignoring traffic lights can be catastrophic and is absolutely no laughing matter."
