Are you enjoying your bonus extra summer weather? What could possibly be better than strolling down the street in the sunshine when you were fully expecting to be scurrying about in the rain? How about strolling through a new city, chatting for free on your phone, on your way to a free tour of 10 Downing Street, and then to the pub for a free drink? We have the freebies that could make all of this possible.
The users of Hotukdeals.com have tracked down a freebie from ASOS. They are giving away samples of Smashbox Photo Finish Primer - which is meant to smooth your skin and hide your lines. You'll need to fill in your details on the ASOS website - and in return you'll get the sample, and you'll be entered into a competition to win £300 worth of Smashbox products too.
Free entry to London landmarks
Each year Open House London provides free entrance to all sorts of places in London - ranging from those which are never normally open to the public to those who usually charge an entrance fee. This year the event is on 20-21 September, and while you can just show up to some buildings, others require you to book in advance. It means it's worth visiting the website to see what's available and whether you need to book.
Highlights include tours of the state rooms of Number 10 Downing Street (although these will be allocated by ballot), the Gherkin, Broadgate Tower, and behind the scenes at the Canary Wharf Crossrail site.
Free Asda Mobile SIM
Asda is offering a free pay-as-you go SIM, which comes with ten minutes of free calls, ten texts and 10mb of data (outlined in the small print). It could be useful if you need an emergency phone - or one for a child - and you can apply for it online. The only proviso is that the users of Hotukdeals.com warn that if you don't use the phone at all for six months, Asda has the right to terminate the SIM. But it'll be a useful freebie in the interim.
If you're on Orange or EE (including those who take advantage of the free Asda SIM) you can get two pizzas for the price of one at Pizza Express every Wednesday. You need to text the word FILM to 241 (which will cost 35p) and show the code to your server. The deal runs until 24 September.
Pitcher and Piano is offering free drinks in September. If you sign up to the newsletter you will get a free bottle of Sol or a Lynchburg Lemonade cocktail made with Jack Daniels. Once you've signed up you'll receive regular emails. However, as these come with a free drink every month, it's not too much of a hardship.
