84-year-old woman falls down cliff in Torquay

An 84-year-old woman has been rescued by coastguards today (Friday) after falling down a steep cliff path in Torquay.

The woman was walking her dogs in the wooded area near the Valley of the Rocks at the time, reports the Torquay Herald Express.

Members of the public heard her shouts for help at Watcombe Cove and immediately called emergency services, reports We are South Devon.

Torquay coastguards arrived at the scene and the woman was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
