Two young twins miraculously escaped a horrific car crash in which they were both thrown clear from the vehicle.

Rescue services were shocked to see the four-year-old brothers Nikita and Sasha get up and walk away from the scene unharmed.

Their parents Yulia and Igor Krapova also escaped the crashed unharmed.

According to the Metro, police in the Russian city of Orekhovo-Zyevo said Ms Krapova turned left across lanes without checking what was coming the other way.

Police said that her first question was not about anyone's welfare but about what might happen to her.

She reportedly said: "What is going to happen to me because of this? Will I go to jail?"

Officers added: "It shows what was most important to her at time. It was not the reply that officers had expected."

Back in 2012, a driver in Russia miraculously survived unharmed after a high-speed crash in which he hit a vehicle head-on at high speed while trying to overtake a bus.

This video shows him smashing head-on into a truck, swinging back, and being hit by another car travelling behind him.
