The hilarious moment a nurse shark projectile vomited water at a radio DJ has been caught on camera.
According to the Daily Telegraph, New Orleans DJ Corey Bonalewicz was on holiday in Cancun, Mexico, when he got more than he bargained for during a close encounter with a shark.
Corey goes in to check out the animal's teeth, when suddenly it shoots a load of water in his face.
His friends can be heard giggling in the background, while he mutters a simple "Thank you" as he wipes his face.
The Mirror reports that the DJ has previously hit headlines for being sued by the Naked Cowboy of New York for impersonating the performer in a number of videos.
Cancun is located just north of Mexico's Caribbean coast resort band known as the Riviera Maya. It's a top tourist destination and is famous for being popular with young Americans heading off on 'Spring Break'.
The nurse shark is a common inshore bottom-dwelling shark, found in tropical and subtropical waters.
It is frequently found at depths of one metre or less but may occur down to 75 m (246 ft).
Its common habitats are reefs, channels between mangrove islands and sand flats. It can be seen in the Western Atlantic from Rhode Island down to southern Brazil; in the Eastern Atlantic from Cameroon to Gabon (and possibly ranges further north and south); in the Eastern Pacific from the southern Baja California to Peru; and around the islands of the Caribbean.
They are nocturnal animals, spending the day in large inactive groups of up to 40 individuals.
Their diet consists primarily of crustaceans, molluscs, tunicates, sea snakes, and other fish, particularly stingrays.
