More pressure on the FTSE 100 on Wednesday, slipping more than 46 points to 6,636.1; a 0.69% fall overall. Smith & Nephew and Shire took the biggest hits, down 4.14% (to 1020p) and 4% (to 4680p) respectively. AstraZeneca also suffered, giving away 3.58% to 4190p. However miner Fresnillo leapt 6.31% to 985p.
