Saudi tourist flies gold Range Rover over for London holiday
A wealthy Saudi tourist has flown his blinged-out gold Range Rover over for his London holiday.
The vehicle was spotted outside the ultra-luxe Wellesley Hotel in Knightsbridge, and has been given an image overhaul by German company Hamann.
The Mystere is a £150,000 version of the Range Rover, and features a distinctive black and gold wrap, a customised bodykit with oversized bumpers and a bonnet vent.
One onlooker told the Express: "Range Rovers don't normally stand out because there are so many of them in London, but this one is different.
"You can't miss it. It is amazing that the owner, who must be quite rich, decided to have it wrapped gold coloured.
"It was parked next to a Rolls-Royce Ghost, and you hardly notice the Roller. It is not often that a Rolls-Royce looks like the understated car."
Many flamboyant cars can be spotted in London at this time of year, known as The Season, when Middle Eastern millionaires escape the searingly hot desert temperatures for a holiday in the UK.
According to ITV News, a number of people have been sharing pics of the starry spot on Twitter.
