If you thought the introduction of 20mph speed limits automatically made roads safer and reduced the number of casualties, think again. Data analysed by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) shows the number of accidents on 20mph roads increased by over a quarter (26 per cent) last year, reports Car Throttle.
