A branch of Lidl in Ashford, Kent, has introduced new rules regarding free parking - with an astonishing £90 fine for anyone who falls foul of them.

If you want to park for free you have to shop at Lidl and make a purchase. If you fail to buy anything at the store - you have to get your car out of the car park within 10 minutes of arriving, or face the fine. It's the latest in a long line of stores to bring in limits to free parking, which have angered shoppers around the UK.
