Tetley fails in bid to scotch PG Tips ad

Tetley has lost its battle to ban a PG Tips advert after the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled that pyramid teabags really are better than round ones.

The owner of Tetley, Tata Global Beverages, complained about an ad in which Johnny Vegas and a puppet monkey compared two cups of tea made with different-shaped bags. "Monkey, you know how you always say, 'there's no other tea to beat PG'... What if you're lying?" asks Vegas.
