Mean-spirited bank, TSB, has warned holidaymakers that "failing to inform your bank about holiday travel plans can result in 'no fun in the sun' adding only stress to the otherwise relaxing sun, sea and sangria."

My bank, HSBC, is the same. But Nat West told me not to bother when I rang them to warn that my daughter was off to Spain with having finished her GCSEs. It seems that some banks just like to make trouble for their customers.
