Dozens of Disney theme park employees have been arrested for alleged child sex crimes since 2006, a report has found.
More than 35 arrests have been for possession of child porn or trying to meet a minor for sex, according to the six-month CNN investigation.
The report revealed an urgent problem plaguing theme parks in America. "Wherever you find children, you'll find sexual predators that want to be there," said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.
According to The Huffington Post, Robert Kingsolver, 49, who worked as a ride repair manager at Magic Kingdom, was accused of trying to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex in Lake County. He was arrested in February and pleaded not guilty, saying: "My family's life is ruined. My kids' life is ruined. I've devastated my parents because of bad judgment."
Other theme park workers arrested for possessing child pornography and meeting minors for sex include a tour guide, a costumer, security guards, a gift shop employee and maintenance workers.
One man who was found guilty of possessing child pornography on Disney property was hailed for six years.
The New York Post reports that Disney spokeswoman Jacquee Wahler said the arrests represent a tiny fraction of the company's workforce.
"Providing a safe environment for children and families is a responsibility we take very seriously," she said.
"We have extensive measures in place, including pre-employment and ongoing criminal background checks and computer monitoring and firewalls.
"The numbers reported by CNN represent one one-hundredth of one percent of the 300,000 people we have employed during this time period."
