Video: Pagani Zonda Revolucions sing on track

Zonda Revolucione

Last week we brought you the news that Ferrari was in the midst of developing a hardcore (yes, even more so) track-biased version of its new LaFerrari hypercar. It turns out the hallowed marque isn't the only Italian carmaker that has been fettling its wares, as this new video of two Pagani Zonda Revolucions undergoing a track shakedown proves.
Captured by YouTube stalwart Marchettino, the video showcases the two ultra-rare track toys in their home territory – in this case the San Martino Del Lago circuit in northern Italy. Fitted with naturally aspirated V12 engines and sports exhausts, the Revolucions emit an evocative sound of supercars past – a sound that is sadly dying out as more manufacturers switch to turbocharged engines.

The Revolucion is an even more extreme version of the track-only Zonda R, a car that famously clinched the Nurburgring lap record for non-series cars at 6min 47.5sec. Developing 800bhp and fitted with ultra-powerful carbon ceramic brakes and a DRS equipped rear wing, it is arguably the finest trackday toy currently in existence.

Click play below to watch – and more importantly, listen – to these incredible machines in action.
