Kanye West refused to use toilet roll on a Eurostar train from Paris to London because it was too scratchy.

The controversial rapper instructed his staff to gather napkins from the first class carriage for him to use in the bathroom instead, reports the Mirror.

The 37-year-old hip-hop artist was travelling from Paris to London to perform three headline gigs at the Wireless Festival in London and Birmingham.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Kanye is very particular about his toilet paper. He couldn't believe that in a first class carriage, they had scratchy loo roll.

"He didn't make a fuss to Eurostar staff, but he was heard moaning to his inner circle. He didn't like the texture and requested a softer tissue."

Things then went from bad to worse for West.

The train was delayed for four hours following a technical fault and once in London, Kanye was booed by the Wireless crowd for a 20-minute rant on stage.

The hotheaded star also reportedly had a meltdown backstage because of the colour of his linen. Kanye only ever has white linen in his dressing room but there was black linen in his dressing room backstage at Finsbury Park and organisers had to scramble to fetch white linen, reports the Mirror.

According to the Sun, Kanye is very particular about his toilets and he and new wife Kim Kardashian spent £440,000 on four gold-plated loos for their Bel Air mansion.
