EasyJet carried nearly 6.1 million passengers in June 2014 - a 10.1% rise on the June 2013 total.
Ryanair passenger levels reached 8.3 million last month - an increase of 5.0% on June last year.
Both carriers had to axe a number of flights due to the French strike towards the end of last month.
EasyJet has carried 63.37 million passengers in the 12 months to the end of June 2014 - a 5.4% increase on the total for the 12 months ending June 2013.
A total of 82.7 million people have flown with Ryanair in the 12 months ending June 2014 - the highest 12-month figure ever and a 3% rise on the figure for the year ending June 2013.
