Another Southwest Airlines steward delivers funny inflight safety video

It seems you have to be a natural comedian as well as have a head for heights to be a Southwest Airlines flight attendant.

Following on from Marty Cobb's now-famous hilarious safety demo, another as-yet-unnamed steward has lightened up the often-dull delivery with a few laughs.

He starts: "In the event you haven't been in an automobile since 1960, flight attendants still have to show you how to fasten a seatbelt."

He added that the seatbelt needed to be "low and tight across your hips just like the hot pink Speedo I'm going to be wearing".

And, according to the Daily Telegraph, he told parents travelling with more than one child: "When those masks fall you'll want to put the mask on the bright one. That will be the one who is going contribute to your retirement most successfully."

Marty Cobb kickstarted the comedy routine trend back in early June. Some of her jokes included: "You'll notice in the highly unlikely event the captain lands near a hot tub everybody gets their own teeny weeny yellow bikini.

"No smoking, no whining, no complaining. No smoking in the lavatory - the fine is $2,000 and if you wanted to pay that for your air fare you should have flown with somebody else!"

She finished: "Sit back and relax, or you can sit up and be tense.

"That's what we call very cheap entertainment, you didn't need to pay extra, but you certainly don't get a refund."
