Ofcom reveals sharp spike in complaints over nuisance calls

There has been a huge surge in the number of complaints to Ofcom about abandoned and silent calls. They rose 55% between March and April this year to 4,040. Meanwhile, complaints to the Telephone Preference Service about unwanted marketing calls rose 43% in the same period.
