Burglar caught after dozing off in victim's home

Derek Hardman, a 31-year-old from Langdon Close in Bolton, has been jailed for attempting to steal £10,000 of jewellery. He sneaked in through an open door while his victims were watching TV and collected the swag together. However, he failed to complete the job, because half way through he decided to have a bit of a nap. He was woken by his victims prodding him.
