Fiat has been busy refreshing its popular 500 model so it can now offer customers a new TwinAir engine and a number of technological and styling advancements.
A key interior feature is the new TFT digital instrument display that projects speedometer readouts as well as displaying a number of configurable readouts, such as a trip counter and fuel consumption figures.

The TFT instrument cluster can also operate media and phone functions in conjunction with the steering wheel-mounted controls.

A new 102bhp 0.9-litre TwinAir turbocharged engine will also be available that offers improved performance figures over the current TwinAir line-up. The 0-62mph sprint time is a claimed 10 seconds and the refreshed 500 can reach a top speed of 117mph.

Despite its 'lively' performance, it is still capable of 67.3mpg on the official combined fuel economy cycle and its CO2 emissions are just 99g/km.

A plethora of safety technology comes as standard on all new models, including:
ABS brakes, seven airbags (including a driver's knee bag), ISOFIX attachments and daytime running lights.

Customers can also go crazy with the personalisation options as a number of new paint options are now available, as well as various interchangeable elements (mirror caps, wheels, door sills and interior trim) offered as optional extras.

Prices start at £10,960 for basis Pop models and rise to £17,960 for the range-topping 1.3-litre Cult models, which comes complete with automatic climate control; new 16-inch alloy wheels; rear parking sensors; a black roof panel with a fixed glass sunroof and new Poltrona Frau leather upholstery, as well as the seven-inch TFT instrument panel, all as standard.
