John Terry snuggles up to a dolphin on holiday in Florida
John Terry is currently enjoying a family holiday in Florida.
And, while his fellow footballers gear up for the World Cup 2014 at training camp in Portugal, John was snuggling up to dolphins at the Discovery Cove in Orlando on Wednesday.
The Chelsea captain scored a new friendship with a bottlenose dolphin as he cooled off from the hot Florida sunshine.
The premiership footballer retired from international games in 2012, although many fans believe he should have been persuaded to take part in the World Cup 2014, reports the Daily Mail.
After a little swim around with the dolphin, Terry puckered up and thanked it with a kiss.
According to the Express, he said he would be thinking of the boys at the World Cup - while he was on holiday.
He said: "For me, 100 per cent, I'm going to be on my holidays in the summer. Nowhere else. My thoughts are very strong on that.
"I'll be supporting the lads in every game...with a nice bit of sun on my back."
Discovery Cove is a sister park to SeaWorld and offers visitors the opportunity to swim with dolphins, giant rays and stunning tropical fish. Visit www.seaworldparks.co.uk
