The UK really does have the most squeezed middle

The idea of the 'squeezed middle' originated from politicians as an emotive way to describe families in the UK, but it seems that it really does exist and traditional families really are being squeezed the hardest.

Let's face it, most of us have felt a squeeze, or even a slight pinch, in our finances over the past few years but unless you are part of a 'traditional family' with one earner and children you can't moan.
