Updates from Next and Home Retail Group

The FTSE 100 gained almost 70 points on Tuesday, finishing the day at 6,769.9 - a 1.04% lift. Legal & General Group saw the biggest rise, up 3.20% to 212.90p. Cruise operator Carnival also saw a chunky lift, up 3.18% to 2370p. Miner Fresnillo saw the biggest loss, down 1.74% to 849.50p.
