Copy of Beano expected to raise thousands

A first-edition copy of the Beano is up for sale on eBay, and is expected to fetch thousands of pounds.

With a cover price of just two pence, the 1938 comic has appreciated considerably in value thanks to its rarity. While around 443,000 copies were originally printed, only 25 are believed to survive.
