Stunning footage of Cornwall coast shot with drone becomes online hit

Amazing footage of the breathtaking scenery on the north coast of Cornwall near Newquay shot using a remote controlled video drone has become a hit online.

The drone was flown over the tourist hotspot and captured stunning imagery from sunrise to sunset, reports the Mirror.

The cameraman uploaded the footage to YouTube, calling it 'the best thing I've ever filmed', writing: "I'm so happy with this footage, I can't stop looking at it! Wait for the final shot! Everything came together perfectly for this flight: the wind dropped, the sun was low and orange and the tide was almost completely in.

"In fact, this footage is straight out of the camera. Apart from the obvious cuts and transitions I've done no editing or colour correcting whatsoever. It's just not needed."

He added: "I've had my new TBS Discovery Pro for a week and a half and I couldn't be happier. The rock at the end of this video was about 450 metres from the hotel room where I was flying from."
