Police hunt motorcyclist filmed riding bike backwards (video)
A motorcyclist in China is being hunted by police after he was filmed riding backwards on a motorway.
A video shot by a car passenger shows the man relaxing on the back of a motorbike as he speeds forward on the busy road.
According to the Daily Mail, a passer-by named Yul Feng shot the video in the Sichuan province.
"It looked almost as if he was a passenger and the driver had fallen off without him noticing," he said.
"It was really bizarre, I had to take a snap of it and when I uploaded it online I then realised that there were other images as well from other people. He seems to be a serial offender.
The Daily Mirror reports that Chinese police said the stunt was "extremely dangerous".
Spokesman Hu Yen said: "At the very least he will certainly lose his licence," said spokesman Hu Yen.
"It was an extremely dangerous stunt and it's not worth risking your life like this for a cheap thrill."
In 2012, a couple in Brazil were pictured enjoying a passionate smooch while driving along the Foz de Iguacu motorway on a motorbike at around 50mph.
Shocked passengers who saw the scene, said the pair kissed for about a minute, and could not see where they were going.
Fernando Nascimento, who filmed the scene which was later shown on Brazil's RPC TV station, said: "I've never seen anything like it. I was shocked, first because it is so unusual and secondly because it was so dangerous.
"I was in the passenger seat and decided to film because I thought that the motorcyclist was driving without wearing a helmet. But then I saw there were two and they were kissing.
"I was amazed. The driver opened one eye every now and again but they never unlocked mouths. I managed to film for about a minute, but I know that they kissed for longer than that, because it took a while to get out the camera."
