Woman found dead at hotel in Bournemouth
A woman has been found dead at a hotel in Bournemouth.
A murder investigation has been launched and a man was arrested in connection with her death in the popular seaside town, The Belfast Telegraph reports.
Dorset Police did not identify the woman but said her body was discovered in a hotel in St Michael's Road shortly after 12.30pm, the BBC reports.
Detective Inspector Stewart Balmer said: "A murder investigation has been launched and is in its early stages.
"If anyone has any information about this incident I urge them to call Dorset Police at the earliest possible opportunity."
Earlier this month, a woman's body was found at a hotel in Wolverhampton.
Police confirmed the woman died from "multiple stab wounds".
A post-mortem carried out on Amandeep Kaur Hothi found she suffered wounds "inflicted by a sharp object".
The 29-year-old was found at The Britannia Hotel on Lichfield Street.
A 29-year-old man from Wolverhampton was arrested on suspicion of her murder.
He was found injured near the scene, and was taken to hospital before being questioned.
