Tesco slashes milk to £1 - but is it too little too late?

In an effort to win back sales and customers, Tesco has slashed the cost of four pints of milk from £1.39 to £1. Tesco claims the move will not hurt British farmers. However, Tesco's price cut does not undercut German discount players Aldi and Lidl which have been selling four pints for £1 for some time - as has Asda.
