Who knew 'snow swimming' was an actual thing? (Video)

There's currently so much snow in Minnesota that two bored friends decided to recreate the Sochi Winter Olympics - and go 'snow swimming'.

The pair can be seen dressed in swimming shorts and caps in their back yard, looking at the camera and shouting 'snow swimming' before diving in.

They then mimic the appearance of swimming while laughing and screaming simultaneously. Daft? Yes. Amusing? Definitely.

Temperatures in Minnesota are hitting as low as -24C, and the heavy snowstorm last week caused a light-rail train to derail in downtown St Paul, reports cbslocal.com.
