More than 11,000 people have applied for jobs at a new holiday village opening in the spring.
Center Parcs said most of the applicants for its Woburn Forest site in Bedfordshire live in the local area, but the jobs have attracted interest from as far afield as the Isle of Man and Inverness.
Half the 1,500 roles have now been filled, with two out of five new recruits aged between 16 and 24.
Center Parcs, which have villages at four other sites, said one of the most popular jobs was for lifeguards.
Judi Leavor, human resources director at Center Parcs, said: "It's fantastic to have received so many job applications for the new site already, and especially exciting that we've been able to offer opportunities to so many young people at a time where many of them are finding it tough to start their careers.
"This recruitment drive should have a tremendous impact on the local community in terms of economic growth, both in the short and long term."
Among the jobs still to be filled are beauty therapists.
