South of England gets first taste of snow - and more to come!
While some parts of Scotland,Wales and the north of England have already seen snow, the south of England woke up to the white stuff for the first time this winter on Monday morning.
Snow hit as far south as Wiltshire and there's more to come.
According to the Daily Telegraph, by Wednesday, when freezing winds move in from Sandinavia, snow will fall across the whole of the east of England.
The Met Office says: "Rain and hill snow moving westwards on Wednesday, then turning colder with scattered snow showers in eastern Britain. Becoming brighter on Thursday then slowly turning wet and windy on Friday."
Downpours swept across the country on Sunday, with the heaviest rainfall being in Wales, where about 22mm (0.9in) fell in 12 hours, reports the BBC.
The Met Office has issued severe weather yellow warnings for south west England and London urging people to be aware of heavy rain and ice on Monday and Tuesday.
The Environment Agency has issued 10 flood warnings in the south west.
Much of the country was hit by storms, thunder and lightning this weekend, with people taking to Twitter to share their experiences and pictures.
There were even reports of mini tornadoes hitting some parts of the UK, including Surrey.
