Sheep and horses sexually abused and slaughtered in 'satanic ritual' in France

Walkers near the historic town of Perpignan in France made the gruesome discovery of sheep and horses that had been sexually abused and butchered in an apparent satanic ritual.

The sheep had their fleeces ripped off and had been stoned. The animals also had amputated limbs and horses were found slaughtered, New York Daily News reports.

French news site Direct Matin reports via The Local had been stabbed, burned and strangled with wire.

Their tags were removed so they could not be identified.

Local media reports that beer bottles were discovered around the scene of the massacre.

The slaughter came just days before the feats of Saint-Winebald on 7 January, a key date in the satanic calendar.

Police believe the animals were mutilated as part of a ritual.
