If you're scared of heights, look away now, as this new viewing platform in the French Alps will set your feet a-tingling.

Tourists are now being given the chance to stand 1,000m in the air, suspended in a glass cube with a transparent bottom from a peak in the Alps.

The views are spectacularly terrifying: the only thing between you and the 12,604ft drop below is a sheet of reinforced glass.

The Step into the Void exhibition, billed as Europe's highest attraction, gives panoramic views of the Aiguille du Midi mountain range, including Mont Blanc, and the peaks of Italy, France and Switzerland.
