The Beckhams to enjoy £70k Caribbean New Year's holiday with the Ramsays

Updated

David and Victoria Beckham are set to see in the New Year on a luxury holiday in the Caribbean with Gordon Ramsay and his wife.

The two families will rent a villa in the Turks and Caicos at an eye-watering rate of £70,000 a week, reports the Daily Mail.

David and Victoria are thought to be flying out with their four children on 27 December.

A source told the Mirror: "They'll be eating the best food, having spa treatments and the kids will get to play together every day. The boys had been campaigning for a skiing holiday as they love the snow, but it looks like the parents have won this one."

Despite rumours that David and Gordon had fallen out after Beckham pulled out of their Union Street Cafe project, the pair seem to have put all that behind them in the name of a luxury holiday.

The families have enjoyed holidays together before, heading to Napa Valley, California, back in April 2012.

The Turks and Caicos Islands are a British Overseas Territory consisting of the larger Caicos Islands and smaller Turks Islands, two groups of tropical islands in the Lucayan Archipelago.

They lie in the Bahamas island chain, and are a hotspot for the rich and famous, being "home to the Best Beach in the World, breathtaking hues from inviting waters, and legendary diving, snorkelling and fishing", according to their tourism website.
