New broke today that a sixth cyclist has died on the streets of London in just 13 days, sparking outrage among the two-wheeled community that feels more needs to be done to improve road safety in certain areas.
One cycle accident hotspot is in east London, where an abundance of roundabouts and confusing junctions have led to numerous incidents over the past few years.

The latest incident to take place in the accident hotspot involved a McLaren MP4-12C supercar - that costs in excess of £170,000 and can rocket from 0-60mph in just over three seconds - last week.

Police seized the exotic vehicle after it collided with a cyclist near the Old Street roundabout.

A 41-year-old cyclist had to be taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries while the driver of the hot McLaren had his vehicle seized due to incorrect insurance.

The McLaren driver joins an ever-growing list of exotic owners who have been caught piloting powerful vehicles without the correct insurance.

Just last month a Lamborghini Aventador was seized in east London during a police crackdown.

According to The Daily Mail and TheSuperCarKids, police said of the MP4-12C incident: "Police in Islington seized a McLaren MP4 after it was involved in a collision with a cyclist.

"The vehicle was seized by police as the driver, a 63-year-old man, wasn't insured to drive.

"No arrests were made."
