Budget airline Ryanair has added nine new flight routes to its winter schedule, including cheap flights to Comiso, Fez, Nuremburg, Ostrava and Strasbourg from London Stansted.

The new routes will begin this week and from 26 November Dortmund and Lisbon will be added to the schedule, as well as Bordeaux and Rabat in February.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the low-cost airline is celebrating the launch by selling 100,000 fares across the European route network from £14.99.

No-frills rival easyJet recently announced that it was adding 10 new routes to its summer 2014 holidays schedule, including cheap flights to Jersey, Paris and Bordeaux, as well as Heraklion, Bodrum and Split in Croatia.
