A farmer in Montana, America is set to become a millionaire after finding the bones of two dinosaurs on his ranch.

The "very impressive and very valuable" bones of the 12ft-tall Tyrannosaurus Rex and 10ft-tall Triceratops were dug up a few miles apart.

The Sun reports that experts say the T-Rex skeleton is one of the most significant ever found in the world and has around 40 per cent of its original bones.

It is tipped to fetch £1.4 million at an auction in New York in November, while the triceratops skeleton is expected to make the farmer £560,000 richer, the Daily Mail reports.

The most expensive dinosaur fossil ever sold was a T-Rex for £5.4 million in 1997.
