Video: Ryanair launches its 2014 Charity Calendar

Updated

Every year, Ryanair causes a bit of a stir by shooting a select few of its cabin crew in their bikinis for a calendar - but it is for charity.

And, on Wednesday, the airline launched its 2014 Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Calendar, which it hopes will raise over €100,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Ryanair's Robin Kiely said: "The 2014 Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Calendar is the best ever, featuring 13 cabin crew stunners, in swimwear, shot on location in Chania, Crete.

"Charities applied for the partnership in record numbers, with over 400 applications received, and in the end Ryanair's cabin crew selected UK charity Teenage Cancer Trust to receive the entire proceeds of the 2014 calendar."

If the target is reached, the total raised by Ryanair's cabin crew will be over €700,000 since the first calendar in 2008.

Robin added: "These funds will support their 27 specialist cancer units for young people across the UK. Every year, 10,000 copies of the Ryanair cabin crew charity calendar sell out in record time, so all those who want to help Teenage Cancer Trust with its work can buy Ryanair's 2014 calendar onboard Ryanair flights, on Ryanair.com, or from TeenageCancerTrust.org."
