Katherine Jenkins recreates childhood holiday snap in France

Singer Katherine Jenkins has been enjoying a boozy break in France with her family.

The 33-year-old took to Twitter and Instagram to share her holiday snaps and experiences from the holiday in Cognac.

Katherine has visited the south-western region before and posted a childhood photo from a past trip in the region.

She captioned the childhood holiday picture: "Then... Circa 1989 #cognac."

Katherine then tweeted a current snap of her family getting off a boat and wrote: "And now! #RecreatingAMemory #cognac".

In another photo, Katherine is seen posing with her family over a barrel of cognac with the caption: "Smelling the aromas of the barrels #Cognac".

The Welsh mezzo-soprano told her Twitter followers about her trip and tweeted: "Having a wonderful time in Cognac with the girls of my family."

She added: "We've just discovered the secret Karaoke room at the Martell Chateau #Taffia #WeAreFamily".
