Updates from SSE and WH Smith

Yet more pressure on the FTSE 100, down 28 points yesterday to 6,337.9, a -0.44% dip. Vedanta Resources was the biggest faller, slipping -4.67% to 1020p. However there was a steep rise for Persimmon, up +5% to 1131p, helped by an upgrade from Goldman Sachs.
