A Nok Air plane skidded off the runway at an airport in Thailand on Sunday morning.

There were 25 passengers on board the SAAB 340B turboprop but no injuries, reports the Bangkok Post.

The budget airline said the incident was caused by "a glitch in the engine".

The flight came from Chiang Mai and landed at Undon Thani airport.

According to AP, Nok Air said the plane did not block other flights and will be inspected.
