A British tourist whose foot was crushed when a taxi driver drove onto the pavement in New York has appeared on the show of celebrity Dr Oz after he helped save her.

According to New York Daily News, Sian Green was also reunited with a good Samaritan plumber who surprised her on The Dr. Oz Show.

Dave Justino used his belt to staunch the bleeding, saving green's life.

Dr Oz was among the witnesses who rushed to her aid after the crash.

Speaking on his show, Sian said: "I get them days where I'm just a bit not as happy, not as smiley.

"I still do smile, but I'm 24 years old and this happened to me with my bestest friend, walking, enjoying life."

She added: "You can't take anything for granted because it can be gone like that."

According to the Daily Mail, cab driver Faysal Kabir Mohammad Himon had been in an argument with a cyclist before the crash. Charges have not been brought against him.
