Wife tells man to bin metal found in field: ruled to be treasure

When David Taylor, from Co Down in Northern Ireland, found a dirty old piece of metal lying in a field, his wife said it was rubbish. She apparently told him to bin it, but he decided to give it a rinse and ask the local museum.

Now a treasure trove inquest has ruled it to be rare Viking treasure.
