Flaming Lambo causes M6 chaos
The bright orange Murcielago coupe was seen being consumed by fire in the middle lane of the northbound carriageway near Coleshill in Warwickshire.
Parts of the M6 were closed for over two hours while firefighters tackled the blaze, which they believe started after the driver lost control and crashed.
Luckily no one was hurt in the incident, though the Murcielago, which cost around £200,000 when new, was completely destroyed.
The fire caused traffic problems around the Midlands area, with tailbacks reaching the nearby M42 around Birmingham.
Witnesses took to Twitter to voice their surprise at what they had seen.
Motorist Aaron Singh tweeted: "If you're planning on driving up the M6 North this morning from Junction 3 or before, don't! A Lamborghini just crashed and caught fire..."
Another sympathised with the vehicle's owner (who has not been identified), saying that they "would definitely be crying" if it were his car
