Lucky escape for driver nearly crushed by boulder in landslide

A driver was nearly crushed beneath a huge boulder that crashed down into a road during a landslide in Taiwan.

Footage of the incident from the car behind shows the moment the enormous rock, a few times bigger than the car, crashed within metres of it.

Heavy rain has triggered a number of mudslides across the country.

According to Sky News, there were no reports of injuries.

But 19 people were hurt when a train derailed in southern Taiwan, The Daily Star reports.
